X Case Study
As a Lead UX/UI Designer, I conducted an in-depth case study to reimagine X as "The Everything App," a platform that seamlessly integrates news, public discourse, and creative expression.
Through immersive ethnographic research as a content creator on X, I engaged in daily tasks like posting and analysing community feedback to uncover user pain points and opportunities. My findings informed strategies to enhance user engagement, including expanding verification to boost trust, lowering barriers for article creation to attract journalists, and introducing a Grok-powered Feed Builder for personalised content curation.
I also proposed UI enhancements, such as a simplified navigation, a Highlights Bar for profile customisation, and specialised modes like Image Gallery and Video Playlist to empower content creators. This project showcases my ability to combine user research, strategic thinking, and innovative design to elevate a platform’s ecosystem, ensuring it meets diverse user needs while fostering authentic, high-quality content.
